Welcome to this Blog! Purpose and Goal

Hi, my name is John Boda and I want to state my purpose and goal right off the bat, so here it is:

To promote and advance the Kingdom of God on this earth until the reign of the King fully comes!

What is "The Kingdom of God"? Who is the "King"? All that and more will be covered in the various posts here, but please know that I believe in the absolute truth of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and also believe in a LITERAL reign of the King that is coming!

My intent is to promote the idea that there IS a goal of God! He DOES have a purpose in everything he has made. That goal is clearly revealed in the scripture, although it is amazing how it has become hidden and hardly ever studied or discussed!

I will be exploring all this in these posts, but please know that this really has nothing to do with religion, and it is far more deep and important that any church or denomination (I am not against those either) but what I am speaking of is the panoramic-ultimate-big picture view and concept!

I have a background in the church and was raised by a preacher-minister and I was an associate pastor for a while as well. I have no degree in theology (I am not against that) but rather continue to learn and study both on my own and as part of a local church. Although I am not a theologian, I may be more of a theologist. (That will be covered later as well)

I am also a wayfaring stranger - pilgrim - minstrel - musican - singer - guitarist - songwriter - worship leader (Put that on a business card)

The name of this blog - Till the Reign Comes - actually comes from an old song that I was a part of in a group called "Song of Songs". It was also the title of our last album in 1984 and speaks of the same thing of advancing the Kingdom of God on this earth right here and now until that reign is fully realized and the King is here!

So far this is all a big tease!? Perhaps, but it is only an introduction and stated purpose to the posts that you will find here I will be adding soon. I have a series of writings that have long since been buried but initially have been well received when they were handed out and used as lessons, and to keep from being accused of hiding my light under a bushel, I will post all these here for better or worse and hope and pray they will be a blessing, and further advance the Kingdom to come.
